Terms and Conditions

1. Every participant will receive a waiver prior to the start of the first lesson. This will be sent via email once booked a lesson is booked. Each participant needs to have read and signed the waiver. If you did not receive a waiver, you can download it here as a PDF, or as a Word Document.
2. By reading and signing the Philippa Anderson Surf School waiver you are agreeing to accept these terms and conditions between Philippa Anderson Surf School and yourself.
3. If a participant has ticked the box on the booking site ‘Approval to take and use images of participant’, the participant is agreeing for Philippa Anderson Surf School to use images from the participants lesson across all media platforms related to Philippa Anderson Surf School.
4. Intellectual Property Rights – all Intellectual Property Rights relating to all material on Philippa Anderson Surf School website shall be the property to Philippa Anderson Surf School unless otherwise stated.
5. All information on Philippa Anderson Surf School website is accurate and owned by Philippa Anderson Surf School.

At the Philippa Anderson Surf School , we run lessons in rain or sunshine providing it is safe to do so. We will cancel lessons if the surf is too big, flat or the conditions are unsafe due to high tide, heavy shore dumps, lighting or strong winds then you can reschedule your lesson at a later date. If we are unable to link up a lesson that suits you and you decide to fully cancel your lesson, you will receive a full refund (please expect 1-2 days).

We need 24 HOURS NOTICE IF YOU would like to reschedule or cancel your booked lesson to get a full refund. Failure to give the necessary notice within the 24 HOURS of your booking, you will be charged 50% of your booking. Failure to give notice OR failure to show up will result in a 100% forfeit of the session fees ( this is due to our inability to fill the slots).

PLEASE NOTE we take a 50% booking fee in advanced for lessons booked over email, text and social media platforms. Come the day of the lesson we will ask you to pay the remaining amount.
